A recipe for your slow cooker. These turkey legs come out tender and juicy.
4 pce turkey (drumsticks, thawed if frozen)
seasoning (salt and pepper to taste)
1⁄4 c tomato ketchup (tomato ketchup)
1 c molasses
1⁄4 c vinegar
1⁄2 t salt (hickory smoked salt)
1 T onion (minced)
- Sprinkle turkey drums with salt and pepper. Place in large crock pot or slow cooker.
- Combine ketchup, molasses, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, hickory smoked, salt and minced onion. Pour over turkey.
- Cover and cook on Low for 7-9 hours.
- Serve warm.
You can use instant minced onion.
