1 c corn (sweet corn, frozen and cooked or canned and drained)
1⁄2 c bell pepper (red, finely chopped)
3⁄4 pk pasta (ziti or other pasta shapes, 8 oz package)

  5. Melt the butter in a large saucepan. Add the flour and cook for 1-2 minutes.
  6. Add milk and canned soup stirring continuously to prevent lumps from forming.
  7. Heat, stirring continuously, until the mixture boils and thickens.
  8. Stir in the vegetable mixture, the chopped sausages and cooked pasta. Mix well and heat through.
  9. Pour the mixture into a heatproof pan. Sprinkle grated cheese and bread crumbs on top.
  10. Broil until the surface is golden and crisp.
  11. Let it rest 10 minutes and serve very hot.
