Cinnamon rolls

A delicious treat for breakfast made easier with the bread machine.

Ingredients

2 egg
4 1⁄2 c flour (bread flour)
1 c milk (warmed)
1⁄2 c sugar (white sugar)
1 c butter (1/3 melted for dough, 1/3 melted for brushing, 1/4 softened)
1 1⁄8 t salt (1 teaspoon for dough, 1 pinch for glaze)
2 1⁄2 t yeast (bread machine yeast or dry active yeast)
1 c brown sugar (packed)
2 1⁄2 T cinnamon (ground)
1 pk cream cheese (softened, about 5 oz)

Instructions

In the order listed by the manufacturer, place eggs, bread flour, milk; white sugar, 1/3 cup butter, melted, 1 teaspoon salt, and bread machine yeast into the bread machine pan.

Choose the dough cycle and press start.

Once the dough has risen (doubled), sit it out on a lightly floured surface and cover. Leave it alone for approximately 10 minutes.

Meanwhile, combine the cinnamon and brown sugar in a small bowl and set aside.

Take the dough and roll it out into a rectangle that's roughly 16x21 inches size. Brush the dough with the 1/3 cup of melted butter.

Next, evenly cover the dough witht he cinnamon/brown sugar mixture.

Roll the dough up and slice into 12 rolls.IN a greased baking pan, place the rolls and cover for about 30 minutes or until rolls have doubled in size.

Preheat oven to 400°F.

Bake rolls for approximately 15 minutes.

Meanwhile, beat together softened cream cheese, confectioners' sugar, 1/4 cup softened butter, vanilla exract, and 1/8 teaspoon salt  to create the frosting.

Spread frosting over warm rolls, serve and enjoy!

Notes

You can substitute butter with margarine.
