A crab recipe that takes a little preparation but is well worth the wait for the taste.
- Mix the butter, mayonnaise and salt into a sauce.
- Add the crabmeat.
- Spread this paste on the 12 halves of muffins.
- Cut each into fourths and put in freezer for 30 minutes.
- Heat oven to 350º F.
- Place muffins on a baking tray and bake until bubbly, about 15 minutes.
- Serve hot.
This recipe can be prepared with leftover cooked crab meat.
The muffins can be frozen and they will keep for weeks. Cook from frozen.
