It can be served as a dip or as a topping for many Mexican, and Tex-Mex dishes such as tacos, tostadas or fajitas.
- Mash avocados to a purée, with a fork or blender.
- Season lime juice and salt. Anad ground pepper if using.
- Mis in the other ingredients, if using.
- Serve straight away.
It is best if served immediately as the avocado may turn brown, even with the lime juice, if left to stand for too long.
If avocados are small, double the amount.
