A typical pancake recipe made with healthy ingredients, thats you can choose to douse in maple syrup if you wanted.
3 T sugar
1 T salt
1 ds baking powder
1 1⁄2 c milk
1 T vinegar (white wine vinegar)
1 T canola oil (or 2 Tablespoons margarine or butter)
3⁄4 c flour (buckwheat flour)
3⁄4 c whole grain flour (wheat flour)
1⁄2 c bran (wheat bran)
- Mix all the dry ingredients and sift to refine.
- Mix together the milk and vinegar and ad to the dry mixture mixing regularly.
- Continue mixing and add the eggs.
- Melt the butter and canola oil in a pan and add dollops of the mixture cooking for two minutes each side.
