Strawberries and cream
Mix the sugar and heavy cream together, pour over a bowl of strawberries.
Pan fried brook trout
- Clean trout, dip in corn meal and fry in the butter or bacon fat, using a heavy skillet, until crispy brown on both sides.
- Serve with bacon and honey.
Cook the bacon first and use the fat to cook the trout.
