A Sudanese salad that goes great with pita bread and yogurt.
1 t cooking oil
5 scallion (only the stalks and chopped)
4 carrot (chopped)
4 tomato (in cubes)
1 pn parsley
1 clv garlic (crushed)
1⁄2 lemon (just the juice)
1 pn salt
1 pn pepper
- Except the lettuce leaves, mix the vegetables together then add the liquids and herbs.
- On a plate place the lettuce leaves and spoon salad into the middle of each.
