A homemade Libyan lentil soup, perfect as a warming starter.
4 c water
2 clv garlic
1 carrot (chopped)
1 onion (chopped)
1 tomato (cut into four)
1 T salt
1 pn pepper
- Put all ingredients in a pot with 2 cups more than the water needed to cover the vegetables.
- Cook on a medium heat for 30 minutes.
- Add salt and pepper seasoning then puree the mixture before serving.
