Brush this sauce over the meat while it is grilling for a hot and spicy Texan barbecue.
1 onion (chopped)
1 c tomato ketchup
1⁄2 c water
1⁄4 c vinegar
2 T sugar
2 pn cumin (ground cumin)
4 dr hot pepper sauce (or to taste)
- Put all the ingredients in a saucepan. Bring to the boil over a medium-high heat.
- Reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes.
- Brush the meat cooking on the barbecue or grill with this sauce during the last 15 minutes.
