Food attractions

Fancy a bit of girlie gossip? Alright girls, send that hubby of yours into the other room, we have some serious girl talk to engage in.

They gone? Good. Let's talk about food attractions.

Just for the Ladies

Men are attracted to food. We have all heard the adage that the way to a man's heart is through his stomach. Turns out that this might have a little truth to it, but it isn't his heart that is getting revved up.

Forget the days when housewives showed up at the door wearing nothing but whipped cream to greet their man. Today you need to finagle a few warm cinnamon buns onto yourself. I haven't tried this yet, but I am sure there is a way. According to some new research, the number 1 olfactory stimuli for men is the smell of hot cinnamon buns. An easier way to go about this is not strapping them on, but making a couple batches, so that your hands smell like the aphrodisiac.

Once you have your man hooked on that smell, there are a few other things that you might want to keep alongside the bed for that added, um. . . oomph. Have some pumpkin pie and lavender cookies cooling on the bed-stand. According to the research, lavender and pumpkin pie are what men crave to smell in the bedroom. Doughnuts and black licorice come in a close second. If your man is a little older, vanilla is the most intriguing.

Of course this research only covers the general smells, and not the individual person. Other smells can contribute to your romantic liaison. If your husband salivates when he smells pot roast, might I suggest a slow cooker on that night stand.
