BBQ Brisket

Description

A slightly different take on a classic North American dish.

Ingredients

1 c
ginger ale
1 c
BBQ sauce
2 t
brown sugar
3  
onions (sliced and sauteed)
5  
potatoes (cut in quarters)
5 lb
brisket (seasoned how we like)

Instructions

  1. Sear the brisket quickly, while mixing the ginger ale, BBq sauce and brown sugar in a bowl.
  2. Place the the potatoes then onions in a roasting tray with the brisket on top and cover with the sauce.
  3. Cover the tray and cook for 3 hours in the oven set at 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
