A pumpkin version of the Australian bread.
35 ozself raising flour
2 1⁄5 ozbutter
3 cmashed pumpkin
- Stir flour into the salt then do the same with the butter.
- Make a well and add the pumpkin and water and knead the mixture into a dough.
- Cut into two half then place both on a greased baking tray.
- Cut a cross 1/2 deep across both tops.
- Bake in a hot oven fr 10 minutes then in a reduced heat for a further 20.
