Apple cider and soy sauce area an unusual combination but they make a nice match for the grill.
- Place all ingredients in a pan, bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer gently for 10-15 minutes.
- Baste with 1/2 cup apple juice while cooking.
- Add sauce last 15 minutes.
Rub meat with 1 Tbs pepper, 1 Tbs paprika, 2 Tbs chili powder, 1/2 Tbs celery salt, 1/2 Tbs ground red pepper and 1/4 Tbs dry mustard before cooking.
