Apricot bread

Description

This is a recipe for the bread machine.

Ingredients

4 1⁄2 c flour (bread flour)
1 2⁄3 c orange juice
2 T butter (cut into pieces)
2 T honey (warm honey)
2 t yeast (dry active yeast)
1 1⁄2 t salt
1 t cinnamon (ground)

Instructions

  1. In the pan of the bread machine, place all of the ingredients above, except of the dried apricots. Press Start.
  2. Right before the knead cycle ends, open the lid and add the dried apricots to the dough. Resume cycle.
  3. Once the bread is finished and the machine is off, remove the bread immediately. Then, take the warmed honey and glaze the top of the bread with it.
  4. Allow bread to completely cool before serving.

Notes

Refer to your bread machine's manufacturer for the correct order for placing the ingredients in. Cooking time depends on your bread machine.
