Stuffed jalapeño firecrackers

Stuffed jalapeño firecrackers take just a few minutes to make and will have your guests begging for the recipe.

Ingredients

12 chili pepper (jalapeño peppers, halved lenghtwise, seeds removed)
8 oz cream cheese (softened)
  seasoning (Cajun seasonin and ground red pepper)
12 sli bacon (each cut in half)

Instructions

Preheat the broiler & move the rack one notch above middle. 

Slice peppers in half and remove any seeds.

Using a butter knife, fill each jalapeño half with cream cheese.

Sprinkle with cajun seasoning and/or red peppers. 

Wrap each pepper with a slice of bacon and use a toothpick to secure it. Arrange in a single layer on a baking sheet.

Broil until the bacon becomes crisp, 10-12 minutes per side.

Serve warm.

Notes

Made with jalapeño peppers, cream cheese, bacon and seasoning, these little treats are like firecrackers not only in spicyness but also in flavor.

You will also need toothpicks to hold the peppers together.
